Sneaker Evolution: Keds and Staud's Pickleball-Inspired Court Lace-Ups

Keds and Staud have collaborated to unveil pickleball-inspired Court lace-up sneakers, combining sporty elegance with modern technology. These sneakers, available in cream and dark green or cream and black, retail for $125. They boast a vintage design, featuring durable leather and suede uppers, soft mesh lining, and lace-up closures, all set atop 10% Recycled PU Foam Softerra™ footbeds and lightweight, flexible rubber outsoles for enhanced comfort and all-day wear.

The sneakers reflect the innovative spirit of Staud, a brand co-founded by Sarah "Staud" Staudinger and George Augusto in LA in 2015. Staud emphasizes accessible and empowering fashion, offering a diverse range from clothing to footwear and accessories, including a bridal category. This collaboration with Keds underscores Staud's commitment to merging timeless design with contemporary style, ensuring a chic and comfortable footwear experience for all.

Beyond this collaboration, Keds, established in 1916, is known for its iconic canvas and rubber-soled shoes. It has also recently partnered with Rifle Paper Co., unveiling seven new styles adorned with embroidered florals. The availability of the Court lace-up sneakers on both Keds and Staud's websites marks another significant chapter in Keds’ extensive history of footwear innovation and pop culture influence.
