Kevin Hart Takes on Naomi Osaka in Pickleball: “Whooped My Ass Like I Stole Something”

When comedy met world-class athleticism on the pickleball court, the results were as entertaining as expected. Former world No. 1 tennis player Naomi Osaka faced off against comedian Kevin Hart at his Los Angeles home for an epic pickleball showdown. Hart initially seemed to have the upper hand, winning the first game 11-7, but Osaka wasn’t about to let him bask in the glory for long.

“She came over to my house and whooped my ass like I stole something 😂😂😂😂😂,” Hart joked on Instagram after Osaka crushed him 11-1 in the rematch. Despite the lopsided scoreline, Hart was quick to proclaim, “I got her right where I want her… this isn’t over god damn it!!!!!!” The duo was joined by Evolve founder Stu Duguid and ZICO Marketing VP Kyle Robiskie for a sunny day of fun and fierce competition.

While Hart’s dream of pickleball stardom may have taken a hit, there was nothing but mutual admiration on display. “Can’t wait to watch you kick ass in the Australian Open!!!!!” Hart wrote, cheering on Osaka ahead of her tennis comeback. For now, Hart has some serious training to do before he challenges Osaka—or his other celebrity friends—again on the pickleball court.
